Permission to Thrive
In this week's inspiring conversation, I talk with Shawn Pearson.
She suffered abuse as a young child and was looking for love in all the wrong places. Shawn took it upon herself to "fix" everyone else to become a better person. It was a plan that failed miserably.
This left Shawn to suffer in silence, and struggle to survive. When she hit rock bottom, she thought her family would be better off without her.
This is a story about dangling from the end of a rope and putting one hand over the other to pull herself up. After dealing with fear, shame, and feeling unsafe, Shawn defined a new way to thrive and to help others do the same.
She will share some powerful lessons that you won't want to miss.
